Indian female tennis player, Yadlapali Pranjala has given Nigerian players a handful of useful tips on how to step up into winning spots in the annual Lagos Open Tennis Championship at Lagos Island Tennis Club, Onikan.
After emerging winner of the annual ITF-sanctioned Lagos Open first leg Futures 4, Pranjala told sports247.ng some tricks of the trade and urged Nigerian players to gain basic foundations in the game.
She reckoned on the need for Nigerian players to have the right tutelage and guidance in order to better their lot in the aces’ game.
Pranjala said: “I haven’t had a major rise, until two months ago, before winning the first leg of this tournament.
“I am happy that I was able to beat the top three ranked players, and I believe it was because of the early training I got in tennis from my coaches in India.”.
