Nigeria is linked with almost every youngster playing abroad these days… Specifically, Nigeria is the most black populated country in the world and also a top traveling country linked to intermarriages and migration.
Unfortunately, most players of Nigerian connection at a tender age fight to play for other countries and when they fail Nigeria becomes the next option…
Is Nigeria a dumping ground?
The Football authorities need to stiffen the laws or we stand to raise/breed a bunch of rejected lads knocking on the door consistently to be included ahead of homegrown players.
Negatively, these foreign base young players are willing to offer bribes, incentives, and a chunk of promises.
Managerially, the system needs a total overhaul if we really want to be reckoned – imagine since the blending and integration process by the AMANJU led administration the country has not won any major trophy…
The earlier the players in DIASPORA declare their interest the better…they should not wait to be rejected before picking Nigeria…
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
