The management of Plateau United Football Club of Jos wish to rejoice with its teeming fans and the entire Muslim ummah the world over on the commencement of the Ramadan fast.
According to a statement signed by the Media Officer, Albert Dakup described the Ramadan fast as a period of sober reflection which is one of the major pillars in the Islamic religion.
The statement urged the Club fans and the Muslim Ummah to use the holy period to pray for the success of the team as it strives to improve its fortunes in the second round of the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.
The statement equally called on the Muslim Ummah to pray for the corporate existence of Plateau State and the country at large for peace and unity to reign supreme.
” At a moment like this, we need prayers for our leaders to enable them to proffer lasting solutions to the myriad of challenges facing the country especially armed robbery, banditry, kidnapping, insurgency, and other forms of crimes and criminality.
