Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) giants Plateau United announced on Friday the appointment of Abdu Maikaba as their new head coach taking over from Kennedy Boboye, whom they recently parted ways with, reports Sports247.ng.
The former Wikki Tourists and Akwa United boss is expected to take over the club with immediate effect after agreeing to a deal with the Peace Boys.
This announcement was confirmed on Friday, much to the excitement of the anxious fans who were waiting for the ‘big’ announcement.
Maikaba’s experience in Uyo, where he managed Akwa United to the 2017 Aiteo Cup success is expected to come in handy for Jos based outfit.
