Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Amaju Pinnick has disclosed that the nation’s soccer governing body already has in place a deliberate programme for success in the coming year.
Pinnick stated in a chat with sports247.ng that the glory days of Nigerian football will surely be back, as The Glasshouse is already making plans and steps towards their realization of that goal.
He hyped on the growing synergy that continues between the NFF and their partners, which he says is pivotal in making the Super Eagles great again, as they look ahead positively to the 2019 Africa Cup Nations.
Pinnick philosophized: “Look at the German national team. It took them 14 years to become world champions.
“They s[pent several years working to dominate world football and they got their, before their recent demise in Russia.
“On the other hand, Nigeria is still growing and we are growing fast. We have a plan in place that that will see AFCON 2019 as our turning point.
“We are happy that our corporate partners and other brand ambassadors are keying into the programme to make the Super Eagles greater.”
