The President of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick has solicited for the cooperation of the host community for the FIFA Goal Project to be sited at Ugborodo-Escarvos in Warri South local government area of Delta State.
Pinnick made the plea when he visited the Paramount Ruler of Ugborodo community to intimate him about the approval granted by world football governing body FIFA for work to commence.
The former CAF vice President stated that the importance of giving Ugborodo community this privileged should be taking seriously to enhance the development of the youth from the area and call on the host community to create a conducive environment for the contractor to deliver on time.
On his part, the Paramount Ruler of Ugborodo community speaking through the chairman of the interim community committee thanked FIFA and the NFF for the rear privilege and assured that all the necessary support will be provided for the actualisation of the noble dream.
Mr. Ebi Egbe, the contractor equally thanked FIFA and NFF for the bidding process and enjoined the youth and people of Ugborodo community to work with him to deliver the FIFA Goal Project as it will be the first of its kind amongst the Riverine communities in the Niger Delta.
