Nigeria Pillar Of Sports Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike has commended the commissioner of police in kwara state Emiembo Tuesday Assayomo for putting in place effective measures towards curtailing insecurity in the state.
Chief Ejidike stated this on Thursday in Ilorin when he paid a courtesy visit to the police Chief in his office at the police headquarters in Ilorin.
He said the police in kwara state have maintained high level of commitment and discipline in sustaining the peaceful nature of the state which gave it the acronym ‘ State of harmony.
The Pillar of Sports assured the commissioner of police of the readiness of his office to partner with police to engage the Youths meaningfully through Sports.
Responding the Commissioner of police thanked the Pillar of Sports and his entourage for the visit even as he solicited for continuous vital information that will help the police to discharge its duties effectively.
He said Sports remain a vital tool to officers and men of the force as it keeps them physically and psychologically fit to discharge their duties hence the need for collaboration.
Highlights of the visit included presentation of sports kits to the commissioner of police by the Nigeria Pillar Of Sports.
