The Professionals Footballers Association of Nigeria Bayelsa State Chapter has commended the Management of Bayelsa Queens FC over the judicious use of the FIFA Covid-19 Pallatives fund sent to the club.
Chairman of the PFAN in Bayelsa State Fubara Owunaro stated this when the executives of the Association paid a courtesy visit to the club chairman Mr. Robin Aprela in his office in Yenagoa.
Mr. Owunaro stated that the provision of items ranging from Mattresses, Outboard games, and foodstuff was a laudable idea in view of the directives given by the World Governing Body for the fund to be deployed towards restarting the game during his pandemic period.
Responding, Mr. Robin Aprela thanked the Executives of the PFAN for taking note of the little the interim Management of Bayelsa Queens have done and promised that whenever such gesture comes from FIFA, they will repeat same.
Mr. Aprela also notified the visitors that everyone was carried along in the Palliative distribution including backroom staff and coaches who are no longer with the team.
Other members of the Professionals Footballers Association of Nigeria, Bayelsa State Chapter on the courtesy visit included Secretary, Deseye Nwankwe and Coach Meremu Okara.
