Peter Olayinka has signed a new contract with Slavia Praha until June 2023. The Nigerian winger was rewarded for his fine performances since joining the Czech First League side in mid-2018.
“I am happy that I could extend my contract in Slavia and that I can continue playing for the club.
“It is very important to see that the club trusts me and that they want me to stay. It is pushing me forward,” Olayinka said.
“My first year here was quite difficult, but now I am enjoying myself and everything is going well.
“This season and the last one were both fantastic,” the 25-year old added.
Slavia prised Olayinka away from Belgium side, K.A.A Gent for a sum of 3.2 million euros in late July 2018.
Olayinka has appeared 85 times for the Red and Whites scoring 17 goals with an additional 10 assists.
The Nigerian international has helped Slavia to two Czech league titles, one MOL Cup victory, one Czechoslovak Supercup, and qualification for the UCL Group Stage in 2019/20.
