Peter Olayinka Shines as Crvena Zvezda Clinch Serbian Super League Title with 4-1 Win

Super Eagles star Peter Olayinka made headlines with a stellar performance, scoring twice to help Crvena Zvezda secure the Serbian Super League title with a commanding 4-1 victory over Čukarički at the Marakana Stadium.

This victory ensured Crvena Zvezda’s double championship, capping off a successful season in the Serbian Super League.

In front of a jubilant crowd of around 30,000 fans, the team, led by Vladan Milojević, celebrated their 35th league title in a vibrant, carnival-like atmosphere.

Despite initially trailing due to Viktor Rogan’s goal, Olayinka equalized in the 32nd minute with an assist from Ognjen Mimović.

His relentless efforts continued after the halftime break, as he scored again in the 55th minute with help from Aleksandar Katai, putting Crvena Zvezda in the lead.

The momentum continued with Nasser Djiga adding a third goal in the 79th minute, and Jean Philippe Krasso sealing the victory with a fourth goal in the 90th minute.

Olayinka’s contributions were pivotal in Crvena Zvezda’s triumphant season, which saw the team finish with an impressive record of 31 wins, three losses, and one draw in the league. They ended the season with an 18-point lead over their closest rivals, Partizan.

Celebrating the Super League title and his achievements, Olayinka took to social media to share his joy with fans.
