Assistant D’Tigress coach Peter Ahmedu believes the Women National Basketball team will once again set out to make Nigeria proud ahead of today’s pre-quarter final tie against 20th ranked Greece women national basketball team.
D’Tigress who are the second to the last in terms of world ranking at the World Cup has been able to claim high profile casualties in Turkey and Argentina.
Peter Ahmedu says that the girls are not scared of any challenges ahead of them.
“We are not perturbed about Greece because we are in good form as well.”
“I know it will be very difficult against the European side but we are out for a surprise,” Peter Ahmedu declared.
The coach insisted that the team’s focus remained the winning of the title and would work hard towards all the matches.
