The Pepperest Travel and Tour U16 Championship is scheduled to take place from December 22nd to 31st at the Ekpan Police Sports Complex in Uvwie local government area.
According to Mr. Godfrey Omose, Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), the tournament aims to identify talented young players for African and European leagues.
The competition will feature a knockout format, with the last four teams receiving branded jerseys.
A total cash prize of over one million naira will be shared among the top four teams, with the winners receiving 500,000 naira, runners-up getting 300,000 naira, third place earning 200,000 naira, and fourth place taking home 100,000 naira.
In addition to the team prizes, there will be individual awards for outstanding players, including best player, highest scorer, best goalkeeper, and other categories.
