To demonstrate the resolve of the people of Kogi state to have a new governor in the state, some indigenes of the state have contributed the sum of N22.5m to Sani Lulu Abdullahi to purchase the governorship nomination form.
Former President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi revealed this to the media after he purchased the gubernatorial form of All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the governorship election in Kogi State in November this year.
Speaking to totorinews after picking the form, Lulu said that Kogi state is in need of progress and rapid development and with the support of the people of the state, he will take the state to another realm of development, but the first step will be to unite the people to achieve the needed progress.
Mr Fix development in Kogi state stormed APC National Secretariat in Abuja at about 12 noon and went straight to pick the form amidst dances and singing from his supporters that trooped into the nation’s capital for the event.
Lulu is the seventh candidate to pick the gubernatorial form in Kogi state for the APC primaries slated for next month.
