The head coach of Paul E Women’s Team commend the team for their resilience and also described his team as one that has a brighter future to take Nigeria Football by storm and has promised that his Women’s Team will give FCT a good representation in 2023 National Federation Cup holding in May.
The team lost by six goals to nil to defending champions Naija Ratels and the mistakes of the state final have been noted, while the coaches are working on them.
The Coach who spoke to journalists at the end of the 2023 edition of the FCT Federation Cup which was played on Saturday 18 March at the Area 3 football pitch, said his team is barely six months, and the girls are competing effectively with the big girls in Nigeria Women Football, and giving a good account of themselves, said the result of the final match against Naija Ratels FC notwithstanding.
The gaffer said they would work on girls to ensure that they perform optimally at the National preliminaries. “everyone who watched the match against Naija Ratels, a Premiership club, will surely appreciate our girls. They gave their best in the match, but succumbed to the experiences of their opponents, many of who are National team players. We have learned from them, and we will take it from there “.
Coach Jumbo whose side lost the final match by six goals to nil, was full of appreciation to the management of Paul E Football Club for providing the girls with all the necessary support and believed that all their efforts will soon yield the needed results.
