Faith Obazuaye has become the first Nigerian to clinch a Paralympics ticket as Team Nigeria now boasts of five qualified players so far for the highly anticipated Paris 2024 at the ongoing ITTF African Para Championships in Giza, Egypt.

From the available 14 Paralympic Games tickets at the ongoing ITTF Africa Para Championships, Nigeria is who had the upper edge more than Egypt to the nick the highest number following the outcome of day one at the three-day qualifying tournament in Giza, Egypt has now gotten a spot following Faith’s qualification.
In class nine and 10 of the women’s singles, Kehinde Lawal and Faith Obazuaye made it easy for themselves with just one match away from picking their tickets after beating all their opponents in the group matches of the tournament.
