Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan will tomorrow, (Sunday) confront OMA Academy in the second semi final of the 2019 Oyo State Aiteo Cup, sports247.ng reports.
According to the Media Officer, Oluyole Warriors, Tosin Omojola said the Stars are going into the encounter, fresh from their 1-1 home draw against Abia Comets in an NNL opener on Wednesday afternoon.
It will be recalled that Shooting Stars pummelled OMA Academy when they met recently in a pre- season friendly.
The Oluyole Warriors would therefore, go into this game to confirm their supremacy over their less fancied opponent.
The match will also serve as a perfect tune up for the Ibadan soccer lords ahead of their all important NNL Group B1 Match Day Two fixture against Giant Briller next weekend in Enugu.
To get this far in the competition, the Edith Agoye tutored lads defeated Ibadan City FC 2-0, via a second half brace by Tosin Abioye before beating hard fighting Saki United 1-0 through a first half header by Gbadamosi Fatai in the quarter final.
OMA Academy triumphed via spot kick over Young Stars in their quarter final clash played on Thursday at the Olubadan stadium to set up a semi final showdown with the Oluyole Warriors.
The 3SC versus OMA Academy tie which will kick off at 4pm at the Lekan Salami Stadium, will be preceded by the first semi final tie between Crown FC of Ogbomoso and M12 FC scheduled to start by 2pm at the same venue.
