I tried my best, trained hard, but I can’t take the Glory. I came with the mindset of winning.” He extended his appreciation to all those who supported him during the bout.
When asked for advice for aspiring young athletes interested in the sport, Oyinmiebi’s counsel was to follow their passion, as long as it is positive, and not to prioritize money over their love for the sport.

Despite participating in about 50 amateur fights and now in his second professional bout, Oyinmiebi does not dwell on his past encounters.
