President of the Squash Federation of Nigeria, Bode Oyerinde has lauded organizers of the just concluded National Under 16 Squash Championship, reports Sports247.ng.
Oyerinde affirmed that this has given the Federation a clear picture of the level of quality of talents available in that category.
He observed that there has been notable growth in the game at the Junior level.
“I think the organizers of the National Under 16 Squash Championship deserves to be applauded for the way they carried out their duties and ensured a hitch free competition,” he began in a chat with Sports247.ng.
“The competition has given the Federation a blue print and path to the discovery of budding talents at the youth level. Remember the grassroots is the best place to discover and harness talents.”
“My own belief is that there has been progress and growth in the Squash game at Youth level.”
