Oyebande Assures Ikeja Football Coaches Council Good Administration

The newly elected Leader of Ikeja Football Coaches Council, Babatunde Adeshina Oyebande has promised that his administration would bring a lot of programmes to the council to better the lives of affiliated football coaches.

Oyebande disclosed this at the Annual General Meeting /end of year party of the council held recently at the indoor hall of Agege stadium,Lagos.

In his welcome address, the former secretary of the council thanked the council members for their support and prayers to be elected as leader of Ikeja Football Coaches Council saying that he would run inclusive government throughout his tenure.

“Having been elected to be a leader of our great council, I promise to operate open policy and ensure equality, fairness and transparency among our members.

“Aside this, I would work in harmony with other exco and create room for other committee to work for the progress of our council.Also my adminstration would improve the relationship between coaches with all other councils in the state”he said.

Oyebande further said he had lined up some programmes that would make life better for the affiliated football coaches and urged them to corporate with his administration.

“My administration would create job for our members in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions as well as state association. I will also improve the intellectual ability of our coaches with seminars and workshops,”he said.

Oyebande disclosed that he would also engage a preventive health care organisation to provide medicals for active and retired coaches during his own tenure.

Other elected members in the council are Fatai Smith Akande as assistant leader.Akinliyi Omolaja as secretary,Ahua Stephen as assistant secretary,Olumide Folayan as treasurer, while Adeniyi Adewunmi Deniyi Adewunmi as financial secretary,

Others are Ojo Oyebode as Public Relation Officer(PRO)Joseph Ayodeji Ikechukwu as social secretary, while Ogechi Nwachi elected as welfare officer as Alausa Momoh also elected as provost.

The End of Year Party witnessed full house as coaches expressed delight for the success of the council in the outgoing year.

Award of appreciation, recognition and excellence were given to the outstanding coaches who distinguished themselves in their coaching careers.
