Giant kit and sportswear manufacturer, OWU has thrown its weight behind Ekiti State Football Association ahead of the Oba Ademola Ajakaiye Memorial U-13 football competition.
According to the Secretary of the organizing committee, Mr. Femi Popoola, the sportswear manufacturer has subsidized the ceremonial wear for the teams participating in the tournament.
Over 180 kids are billed to play at the tournament across 10 out of the 16 local governments in the state, while Owu Sportswear limited has promised to kit the two teams that will play in the finals.
The committee further confirmed that the competition will go on as scheduled in 4 different match venues across different towns in the state this weekend after it was postponed last weekend so that participating teams can perfect their registration processes.
