President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja following his visit to Accra, Ghana, where he attended the inauguration ceremony of Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama.

Tinubu traveled to Ghana on Tuesday at the personal invitation of Mahama, who had previously visited the Nigerian leader in December.
The President’s participation as a special guest of honor was earlier confirmed by Bayo Onanuga, spokesperson for the Presidency.
Tinubu’s return to Abuja was announced through a video shared by Dada Olusegun, the Special Assistant on Social Media, on Wednesday, January 8.
The video caption read: “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returns to Abuja from Accra after attending President Mahama’s swearing-in and inauguration ceremony.”
