The coordinator of admiralty cup championship, Oba Adeniji oluwatosin is happy to announce the launch of the tournament that will take place quarterly among grassroots clubs .
The tournament is meant to discover young players from the grassroots, and it design to take care of players that are not older than 19 years by December 2022, which means players participating are those born by 2003 and above.
“To ensure strict adherence to the age limit, players will be screen using the national identification number slip and verifiable birth certificate as means of proof of age,” Oba Adeniji stated.
Speaking further, the lover of grassroots talent said;
“Plans are on ground to invite club managers, scouts both local and international to watch matches each day of the tournament and all matches will be stream live has arrangement has been concluded with sports247.ng to beam the games from start to finish”.
This edition of the tournament will kick start with 8 teams and plans are on ground to expand as more clubs will be accommodated for the subsequent editions .
