Osun United Chairman, Gbenga Ololade, has lauded the team’s impressive performance at the conclusion of the first round of the Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

The ‘Imole Gladiators’ secured 22 points, winning seven matches, drawing one, and losing just two. Ololade attributed this success to the dedication and hard work of both the playing and non-playing staff. He highlighted the team’s resilience and teamwork as the driving forces behind their strong showing.
Speaking to the club’s official media channels, Ololade expressed gratitude to the Osun State government, led by Governor Ademola Adeleke and his deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi, who also serves as Commissioner for Sports.
He emphasized that the administration’s support has been instrumental in providing resources and motivation, giving Osun United a competitive edge this season.
The chairman also commended the technical crew for their expertise and commitment, recognizing the coaching staff’s role in shaping the team’s tactics and discipline. He extended appreciation to facility developer Peculiar Ultimate Concern Ltd., volunteers, fans, stakeholders, and other supporters who have contributed to the team’s progress.
