In a strategic move aimed at elevating its commercial and marketing efforts, the Osun State Football Association (FA) has appointed seasoned digital media executive, Olayinka Olawole, as its new Director of Commercial and Marketing.
This appointment is set to strengthen the association’s brand visibility and drive revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies.

Olawole brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served in various strategic capacities within leading football organizations across Nigeria.
His passion for bringing positive change to the football ecosystem has earned him a reputation for excellence. Notably, he spent four years with the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) as Content and Media Manager, where he played a crucial role in driving digital marketing efforts and fan engagement.
A University of Ilorin alumnus, Olawole also holds a Diploma in Digital Advertising and Brand Communication from CAFT School of Advertising. His background in grassroots sports, along with his leadership at SportsGig International as CEO and Director at Ace Sports Group, underscores his capabilities in sports management and brand development.
