Super Eagles players Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface are celebrating Taiwo Awoniyi’s gaol scored on Monday night as Nottingham Forest beat Wolves 3-0 Sports247 reports.

Taiwo Awoniyi lost his place in the Nottingham Forest side after a lengthy injury lay but the impressive form of Chris Wood, in the attack of the City’s Forest has pushed Awoniyi down the pecking order after he recovered from the injury.

The victory takes Nottingham Forest’s win streak to six, the longest by any team in the Premier League in the 2024/2025 season and are in contention for a champions league spot finish.

The English Premier League continues this weekend as Nottingham Forest will square against Taiwo Awoniyi’s former club in England, Liverpool FC, and a victory for Nottingham can trigger their title hopes.
