Days after losing his father, Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has been named Lille’s player of the season.
Victor Osimhen was a bought as a replacement for Arsenal’s Nicolas Pepe after the latter moved for £72million.
In his debut season with the club in the Ligue 1, Osihmen scored a total of 13 goals, bagging four assists while he scored 18 goals in a competition.
The Nigerian was also named in a star studded ligue 1’s team of the season, which included the likes Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jnr.
Osihmen is the second Nigerian to win his club’s player of the season award after Moses Simon, was named Nantes player of the season.
