The die is cast as four teams would battle for a place in the final of the Oshorun Saheed Paseda football competition scheduled for Saturday in Lagos.
The competition which started on Monday at rehabilitation sports center, Isheri-Oke, Berger, Lagos has reached the semi final stage.
In the semi final pairing released by the organizers, Tops FC face Fackson Tofido Football Club by 11am, while AD Red Bulls FC take on Westerlo by 2pm to decide who book a place in the final.
All the four teams have equal chance to qualify for the final stage but only the teams with determination and focus can go through to the final stage.
Chairman Organizing Committee, Musa Tijani commended the participating teams for spirits of sportsmanship behaviors displayed throughout the competition and urged the remaining teams to shun vices that can bring the tourney into disrepute.
He also congratulated all the four teams for reaching the crucial stage of the tournament and wished them best of luck in their outings.
“I am impressed with the organization, officiating and standard of play by the participating teams. This competition has discovered some talents and I must confess that all the teams did well in all their matches, “he said.
The final ceremony according to Tijani would hold on Monday afternoon. The cup donor, Chief Saheed Paseda Oshorun and some invited guests are expected to grace the occasion.
