China-based attacker, Asisat Oshoala has declared that she and her colleagues in Nigeria’s female national team, Super Falcons are committed to doing well at next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Oshoala stated in a chat with sports247.ng that they are still basking in the euphoria of their ninth conquest of the African Women Cup of Nations, and believes that spirit will help them to excel at France 2019.
The former Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt and FC Robo of Lagos star added that she is confident in the ability of the Falcons to rise to the occasion at the Female Mundial.
She stressed that her teammates and the entire group are determined to do better than ever at France 2019, where she believes the Falcons will go all out to shock France, Norway and South Korea in their group.
Oshoala stressed: ‘We are going to the World Cup to shock the world. Don’t forget, we are fresh from winning the Africa Cup of Nations for the ninth time.
“That means this team is good, and I am confident that we will prove so at the World Cup next year.
“All the players, the coaches and the officials will strive to give our very best next year.
“The technical crew has already shown what they can do with this team, and I am backing them to keep bringing out the tricks and tactics that will make us do well at the World Cup.”
