Sports philanthropist and General Overseer of Love of Christ Generation Church, Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi, who recently donated a bus to FC Robo of Lagos to help the club plan and successfully participate in the CAF Women’s Champions League billed to start in 2021 has received praises from Asisat Oshola as she applauded her rare but kind humanitarian gestures.
The Barcelona Femeni forward posited that the donation would help ease the stress from the women footballers during league games.
“I am excited that Rev. Mother Ajayi is providing transportation for my former team, FC Robo of Lagos. They play in the Nigerian women’s league and transportation is another key factor for a team that plays in over 36 states, this will help the mobility of the players because they are women.
“This is the team I came from and as a Lagosian, I want to see my former team prosper.
“Now that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has also announced the creation of women’s Champions League, I am doing everything possible for a team from Lagos State to represent Nigeria next year at the event.
“We all need to put hands together to grow women’s football because women are the hope of Africa. Therefore, we need to grow and market women’s football across the continent and give hope to the Nigerian girl/child,” Oshoala said.
Oshoal further revealed her plans for kid in December as she aims to give back to the society.
