After thorough assessment of players performance in the month of February, the technical and management department of Buruj Sports Academy have settled for attacking midfielder Orion as the player of the month.
The Germany-Nigeria born fair-skinned player who joined the Ikorodu-based academy since 2017 starred among other contenders for the award that is designed to encourage the young players to excel in every aspect of their training.
The 21-year old is a naturally gifted player who is endowed with a powerful left-foot and dazzling skills. He is also blessed with good speed and accurate shooting technique- all packed in an excellent physique.
He also sparkled during some of the warmup games he featured in during the course of the time under review.
He is one of the players the management of the academy are banking on to parade during their upcoming foreign outing that will take them to countries like United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and Spain amongst others.
The CEO or the academy, Salaudeen Waheed disclosed that based on Orion’s application of all the tactics and techniques being taught in daily training, the player whose mother is from Edo State deserves the award, adding that if he can continue to keep his head and attitude, he is reaching for greater heights.
