Organisers Move To Meet Club Owners, Coaches Ahead Fusion Championship

Organizers of the fusion football championship have concluded plans to meet the participating club owners, coaches, and media to discuss the benefits and other issues that would make this year’s edition better organized.

Speaking to Sports247 recently the chairman organizing committee, Abiodun Salau confirmed that the meeting with club owners and other relevant stakeholders is necessary saying that all the issues surrounding the league would be ironed out and resolved amicably before the commencement of the league.

“We are planning to meet next week in Lagos and we have sent a letter to that effect to the participating teams and other relevant stakeholders which they have acknowledged it. What we want to discuss is how we can make this year’s edition be glamorous, exciting, and successful. The first edition recorded success and we are planning to make this year’s edition better organized than the previous one,” he said.

Salau expressed confidence that the fusion championship would get a sponsor before the kick-off and urged the participating teams to complete their registration forms before the deadline.

He said some clubs have shown interest but failed to meet the organizer’s requirements, while some club owners have completed all the necessary things in readiness for the championship.

Among the teams expected in the championship are G12, Sportyne, Team 360 FC, Faban, Klassich FC, Young Stars, SGH, Fluent Vision, Lekki United, Smart City, Ottasolo, Divine FC, Madiba FC, and Moonluck FC.
