Organizers of the ongoing Alimosho Football Coaches Council League have sent a congratulatory message to Kotec after winning the league for the first time.
Kotec have two matches to play to win the league but just needed a draw or victory against NISSI to crown as champions.NISSI’s failure to honor their last match at the Air Force Barrack, Shasha, Alimosho, Lagos paved the way for Kotec to be crowned as champions.
In a statement issued by the Chairman League Management Committee, Samuel Uchenna Eke described Kotec as a disciplined team both on and off the pitch saying that their success was a result of the commitment and dedication of the players and coaching crew throughout their campaign. He however congratulated the team for the job well done.
He said Kotec deserved to be crowned as champions as they performed excellently well in all their matches after they lost their early two matches and commended the team for their fighting spirit and urged other teams to emulate the virtues of the team.
“On behalf of the League Management Committee and Alimosho Football Coaches Football Council, I congratulate Kotec for not only winning Alimosho league but displaying a high level of discipline both on and off the pitch. This is one of the clubs that maintain all the rules governing the league and I am happy that they finally won the league. I wish them the best of luck in their subsequent competitions,” the statement said.
Chairman Disciplinary Committee, Lanre Olojo commended Kotec for the job well done saying that the youthful team really gave a good account of themselves in all their matches. Olojo popularly known as Wenger said the team’s conduct both on and off the pitch earned the team’s success.
While secretary of Alimosho Football Coaches Council, Jamiu Aberejo congratulated Kotec for winning the league despite the fact they still have one match to play. He said Kotec came to the league for the first time and won the league saying that the league is competitive and tough for all the participating teams.
