Organisers Begin Plans For Seamoriow Sports U-15 League Championship

Organizers of the maiden edition of Seamoriow sports U-15 League Championship have promised the participating teams a successful two weeks tournament.

Chairman Organising Committee, Oluwaseyi Amos who doubles as cup donor said the U-15 League Championship is the first of its kind in the history of Alimosho saying that the organizers are working round the clock to make the championship which is endorsed by Lagos State Football Association LSFA a huge success.

“We are working to make this year’s maiden edition to be better organized in terms of organization. Presently we have rolled out our guidelines and all the interested academics know what to do. The league U-15 championship would bring the best out the players and new talents would be discovered that can represent Alimosho in future Lagos FA organized football competitions,” he said.

Amos said aside from the championship, the organizers have concluded a plan to Organise a coaching education for the participating team’s coaches to keep them informed about the new development of the game.

In his own comment, Lagos FA representative, Dotun Coker expressed gratitude to the cup donor for his contribution to the grassroots football in Alimosho and promised the participating teams better officiating and organization.
He said the league championship is endorsed by Lagos FA and urged the participants to adhere strictly to the rules guiding the competition.

Coker said the screening exercise for the participating teams would commence on 25, August at the Seamoriow sports stadium, Abaranje road, Islamic bus stop, Alimosho, Lagos.

The league championship according to Coker would kick off on 26, August as 16 teams would fight for the honors.
Amos in an earlier address announced that the winners would go home with N300,000 with a giant trophy, the first runner-up would pocket N200,000 while the third and fourth positions would receive N100,000 and N75,000 respectively.
