Remo Stars Ladies secured a commanding 2-0 victory over Dannaz Ladies in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. Bolaji Olamide delivered an outstanding performance, earning her the Man of the Match award.

Bolaji Olamide Speaking in a post-match interview with Sports247, Olamide expressed her joy and emphasized the team’s winning mentality.
“We came into this game with one mindset—winning. Our coach told us it was an operation win, and we believed in ourselves. We didn’t come here just to play; we came to take the victory, and we did,” she said.
The match saw Kafayat Bashiru open the scoring in the 25th minute before Olamide sealed the victory in the 73rd minute, converting a well-timed pass from Bashiru.
Olamide credited the collective effort of the team, saying, “This award is not just for me; it’s for my teammates, my coach, and everyone supporting us. We are determined this season, and with our coach’s guidance, we will achieve our goals.”
