Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Henry Onyekuru could be on the verge of seeing one of his club’s youth team players join Victor Moses at Chelsea of England.
Sports247.ng gathered that Onyekuru could be set to hand his club’s protégé over to Moses, as Chelsea are reportedly among the clubs monitoring teenage sensation, Yunus Akgun.
Should Moses stay put at Stamford Bridge beyond the January transfer window, he could be there to receive 18-year-old Akgun, who helped Turkey’s under-19 outfit record a 1-0 win over England on Tuesday night.
Scouts from Chelsea watched the youngster in action against The Three Lions’ junior team, while there were also representatives from Juventus, Wolfsburg and Benfica.
Chelsea were impressed with Akgun’s performance on the night, and will now monitor the winger’s development over the next few months ahead of a potential move to join Moses at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Akgun, who has already made seven first-team appearances for Galatasaray this term, has a contract with Onyekuru’s club until the summer of 2020.
