Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru says he’s delighted to helped his team Galatasary to the Turkish Super Lig title and also thanked the Club’s fans for the support.
The former Eupen forward scored the winner as Galatasary battled back from a goal down to beat Instabul Basaksehir to the title on Sunday.
While reflecting on the successful season with the Club, Onyekuru gave all glory to God and also praised the fans for sticking with them all through the season.
“đChampionsđ We fought back from 1-0 in a very tough game. I am so blessed to have a strong team of lions with me to battle back and God gracing me to score the winning goal in this amazing victory! I am nothing without God and I am nothing without all your support.”
“Thank You for an amazing season and making me feel at home. Forever đŚâ¤đ” he posted on his social media handle.
Onyekuru is on loan from English Premier League side Everton and Galatasary has made their interest in keeping the forward for another season known.
The forward has now won two major titles with the Turkish giants which includes this season’s Turkish Cup and the Super Lig title and scoring 17 goals in the process.
