The former president of Nigeria Cricket Federation, Emeka Onyeama has taken a philosophical reaction to his exit from the body’s leadership, as he says it is not for him alone.
Making his mind known in an interview with sports247.ng, Onyemah said he has nothing against those who are now in charge of running the sport in Nigeria, as he believes they also have good ideas to offer.
On whether he misses the sport and administration since his defeat by the current board last year, Onyemah said he keeps in touch with the unfolding events as they affect Nigerian cricket generally.
Onyeamah stressed that he has no issue with the current leadership, and insists he does not feel bad that he is no longer heading the body.
He added in a chat with sports247.ng: “I have nothing to worry about that I am not heading the cricket federation at this point in time, as it is very important for power to go round time to time.
“I still keep tabs with the activities of the federation from time to time and I wish them well as the current board are working hard to develop the game in the country.”
