FC Midtjylland of Denmark striker, Paul Onuachu has caught the awe of an opposing outfit’s official, as the technical director of his club’s latest opponents, Kolding IF, Ulrik Pedersen says the Nigerian youngster’s tall physique and towering height amazes him.
Sports247.ng can report that Pedersen was wary of the threat posed by Onuachu heading into Wednesday’s Sydbank Cup tie with Midtjylland, who he said are lucky to have such a promising lanky lad in their squad.
The Danish second division club’s top shot admitted the threat they were bound to get from Onuachu in the midweek clash at Autocentralen Park, not just because of his physical attributes but also his goals form.
Heading into Wednesday’s match, Onuachu had just a goal this season in the Sydbank Cup, which came against Dalum IF in the third round, when he got off the bench at half-time, but Pedersen says the Super Eagles’ new invitee has a lot more to offer.
Pederen added: “His size and strength are so different from what we meet in the second division.
“He is certainly not the type of attackers we meet on a daily basis. So, there is definitely a big and, not least, troubled challenge.”
