Former Super Falcons Captain, Onome Ebi, has officially parted ways with Naija Ratels Football Club, expressing deep appreciation for the club’s love, respect, and support during her time with them.

Ebi, a legendary figure in Nigerian women’s football, acknowledged the positive environment and camaraderie she experienced at Naija Ratels.

The football icon, who now plies her trade with Israeli Topflight Women’s Football League side Bnot Netanya FC, took to social media to convey her gratitude.

In her heartfelt message, Ebi extended thanks to the entire Ratels family, including the club’s president, Barr Paul Edeh, for accepting her and aiding in her pursuit of goals.

“I want to use today to appreciate and thank my Ratels family, Naija Ratels FC, for the love, the support, the respect, the honour, the comfort—in fact, I can continue mentioning and it won’t end,” Ebi expressed in her message.

She singled out Barr Paul Edeh, expressing personal gratitude for his role in her journey with Naija Ratels.

Ebi also emphasized that, despite her departure for a new chapter in her career, Naija Ratels FC will always hold a special place in her heart.

“To the president, Barr Paul Edeh, I want to personally thank you for accepting me and helping me achieve my goals and I thank Almighty God for using you.

You all have shown me what true love, respect, unity, and happiness feel like in a team. Even as I leave for a new chapter of my story/career, I want to say today that Naija Ratels FC will always be my home.”
