Victor Mbaoma has sent an emotional farewell message to the management, fans, and players of Enyimba F.C ahead of his move to Algerian club, Mouloudia Oran on a permanent deal.
Recall that Mbaoma signed a two-year contract with Mouloudia Oran weeks ago, ending his three years stay with the eight-time NPFL champions.
The 25-year-old in a Facebook post on Sunday evening appreciated everyone at the club for giving him a wonderful experience during his time with “The People’s Elephant”– wishing Enyimba the best going forward.
“We fought hard to secure a continental slot but we couldn’t, not the result we all wanted as a team but we thank God for all , my appreciation goes to Enyimba FC management, fans, and players, and to NPFL fans at large.
Is a great privilege to wear the people’s elephants jersey for 3 years, am glad and honored, today marks the end of my stay in Enyimba FC I wish Enyimba FC all the best God Plz.”
He will join his new teammates in the North African country immediately ahead of the new season.
