Trabzonspor of Turkey midfielder, Eddy Ogenyi Onazi has set his sight on returning to action this weekend, after a bout with injury, sports247.ng gathered.
Onazi, who has been in Nigeria recuperating and cooling off, insists the injury he copped in action with his club was a minor one, such that he is able to get back to action pretty fast.
The former SS Lazio of Italy star added that his plans is to give his best in every subsequent match for the club, in other to help them get a better placement on the Turkish Super Lig table.
The Trabzon-based outfit currently occupy seventh position on the log, with 22 points from 14 games, but Onazi believes they can use their next game at home with Konyaspor on Saturday for Euro qualification.
Onazi stressed: “I’m fully fit now; the injury was just a minor one and I will be heading back to my base.
“I will be ready for the weekend hopefully we can continue our push to the top of the table.”
