Nojoom FC of Egypt youngster, Tosin Omoyele is picking positives from his first goal in the Land Of The Pharaohs, but admits seeing his team lose the game was a dent to his personal lift.
The former Plateau United of Jos star made hay in his second start for the club he joined in January, and sports247.ng reports how happy he was to hit the bull’s eye away to Wadi Degla.
Heading into the game, Omoyele had spoken of his intention to help Nojoom fight off relegation woes, but his efforts fell short, as his side lost the game on Tuesday night 2-1.
Nonetheless, Omeyele is staying upbeat, as he took to social media to reveal his emotions, and laced his post with philosophical words about seeking recover after any setback.
He noted that teams cannot win every football match they play, but it is important for them to put any defeat behind them and roar back much stronger in the next game, which he believes Nojoom will now do.
Omoyele stated: “I finally scored my first league goal in the Egyptian Premier League after my second start but we lost 2-1 to Wadi Degla.
“Sometimes as a striker when you scored you wish your goals will lift your team but this doesn’t happen all the time. Better days ahead!!!”
