The head coach of the Nigerian female U17 team, The Flamingoes, Bankole Olowookere has hinted that his target is to first secure the World Cup ticket for Nigeria and then win the trophy.
The head coach in a brief chat with Sports247 in preparation for his birthday was asked what he promises the entire country to achieve.
“World Cup ticket first and then World Cup Trophy,” coach Bankole replied very briefly and precisely.
The Flamingoes are currently still in intensified preparations for their World Cup final qualifying round first leg match against Ethiopia which will take place in Addis Ababa at the Abebe Bekila Stadium on Friday 20th May by 4pm Ethiopian time.
