Naija Ratels Manager, Bankole Olowookere has insisted that his team are now focused on the AITEO Cup after their recent success in the NWFL Championship and have ‘no time to rest with a game in hand against Tin City Ladies on Sunday.
The experienced Manager told journalists that the mind of him and his players is on their game on Sunday evening in Abuja after his players had the opportunity to enjoy a perfect NWFL Championship title celebration on Wednesday and Thursday.
“I told my players to celebrate but to also remain focused on the matches ahead. There’s no time to rest. Now we have just a few days between our NWFL Championship to the next AITEO Cup fixture.
“We sincerely want to go far in the AITEO Cup and winning our first game is very crucial, ” He noted.
“So if we want to achieve our dream of going far in the AITEO Cup, we have to train well and play well in our upcoming matches.” He concluded.
Bankole Olowookere joined Naija Ratels from Dreamstar Ladies in 2020 and has helped transform the fortune of the team, taking them to the Semi-final of the biggest Women Football Pre-Season Championship in Africa, Flying Officers, and recently winning the 2021 NWFL Championship season.
