Nigerian squash is set to be ruled for some time to come by two sisters, as Yemisi and Busayo Olatunji are both showing great promises for the future.
The older of the two, Yemisi, is already National Squash Champion and won a major international competition in Zimbabwe last year.
Although sports247.ng reports that Yemisi defeated her younger sister, Busayo in many finals last year, she stressed that her sibling always puts up a good fight whenever they clash on the court.
Yemisi defeated Busayo in the Zimbabwe International Open, Prime Atlantic PSA and Old Trafford PSA Close satellite squash events, but the national champion says it is good to her sibling growing up so fast.
She said: “I am so proud of her because she graduated from the junior category two years ago and now she has faced me in three different finals.
“Anytime I face her in the finals, she gives me a good fight which is good for me and I always feel emotional.
“Playing her in finals is dreams come true, but 2018 was a year I will never forget in a hurry because I recorded many victories in my career.
“I am working seriously on myself to improve this year. After a victory, you work towards another so I am working on it.”
