In a heartfelt reflection, Bayelsa United’s right-back, Olatunbosun Oginni, expressed his sentiments ahead of the upcoming face-off with 3Sc in one of the Matchday 17 fixtures.
Having left 3Sc in 2018 under the guidance of the current manager, Gbenga Ogunbote, Oginni looks forward to a special encounter at the Lekan Salami Adamasingba Stadium on Sunday.

“I have played against them with Kwara United, but not in Lekan Salami Adamasingba Stadium. It’s a game I am looking forward to,” Oginni shared in an interview.
The anticipation of facing his former club is evident as he prepares to step onto familiar turf after years away.
Expressing deep gratitude and nostalgia, Oginni declared, “Shooting Stars will forever be in my heart.” He fondly reminisced about his time at the club, where he made his professional debut. “I miss the Club, the Board, the Players, Fans. I felt very good; Shooting Stars is my family.”
Acknowledging the pivotal role played by the former Shooting Stars Captain, Waheed Omololu, Oginni emphasized, “On and off the pitch, Omololu was more than a mate; he was a leader for many of us during my days with Oluyole Warriors.” The bond forged with the fans holds a special place in his heart.
As Bayelsa United gears up for the clash, Olatunbosun Oginni conveyed the team’s ambition, stating, “Bayelsa United will be looking forward to returning to Bayelsa State with a positive result on the road on Sunday.”
