Young Nigerian left-back Olamilekan Oyedele has finalized his transfer to CD Feirense, a Portuguese second division club, departing from Remo Stars Academy. The 19-year-old player has already showcased his talent as part of Nigeria’s U-20 squad, the Flying Eagles.

Oyedele’s accomplishments with the Flying Eagles include being part of the team that clinched victory at the WAFU B Championship in Niamey, Niger Republic last year. Despite his promising abilities, he was left out of the squad for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations and did not make the World Cup roster, as decided by head coach Ladan Bosso.
The young defender is following in the footsteps of other talented players who have made the transition from Remo Stars Academy to foreign clubs. With his potential recognized by Clube Desportivo Feirense in the Portuguese Liga 2, Oyedele has been promoted to their first team.
Having started with the club’s U-19 team, Oyedele showcased his skills as a left-back and center-back, impressing with notable performances and contributing with several goals. His versatility and rock-solid defensive abilities make him a valuable addition to the CD Feirense team.
