MFM FC head coach Olalekan Gabriel has thanked the fans of the club for showing support towards him, adding that his team are prepared for the challenges ahead.
Olalekan took over from Tony Bolus in February on an interim basis and has steered MFM to 9th position in the NPFL table, banishing thoughts of relegation for the Lagos-based outfit.
The former footballer has now been appointed as the team’s head coach on a permanent basis.
He told Sports247: “I want to thank the supporters. They are awesome, coming out to give me the perfect support, I really appreciate them. I also appreciate my players for giving their all and putting their minds to play for me. That is why we get the results.”
He considers his team ready for the upcoming games.
“We are ready for every team we are playing. we have to play every team according to their names and what they have done in the league and how big they are.
“We don’t respect anybody. We prepare all the players that we have. Everybody is up to the task to play and we will set the team very well.
“We are going to Plateau United to get a result, of which I think my boys are ready to do that for me.”
