Torino defender, Ola Aina made quite the impression on first-team italian manager, Antonio Conte as he called the youngster up to make his debut in a League Cup win over Bristol Rovers in 2016. He went on to make six appearances across all competitions as the Londoners went on to win the league top flight title.
In thirst for more first-team action, he joined Hull City on loan for the 2017-18 season alongside fellow youth teammate, Fikayo Tomori and Michael Hector).
He achieved almost 50 appearances in all competitions. He clocked up a substantial number of minutes to make him the second-most played 21-year-old in the Championship – behind Ryan Sessegnon, then of Fulham.
Following that, he had a loan spell in Serie A with Torino for the 2018-19 season in an£8.7m deal with option to buy. The defender impressed so much as a wing-back and was permanently signed in June 2019, bringing his short-lived Chelsea career to an end.
