Chairman of the Crowned Football Academy, Osamede Okungbowa has revealed his plans for the academy in the nearest future.
He said part of his plans is to see the academy play in the nationwide league one in the nearest future and promote to the NNL.
Okungbowa told sports247 in Lagos that he had many plans for the academy saying that he would do everything to achieve his dreams at the academy.
“One of my plans is to see this academy feature in nationwide league one NLO in the nearest future secondly I also want to see the players from crowned academy playing in Nigerian league and Europe. Presently we are just started and we have set targets for ourselves which I believe is achievable,” he said.
Osamede also revealed that any player that plays to his expectations would be assisted to play outside the country.
“Of course, we can push good players to do trials with a foreign club. Like I said I have passion for the youth and I will continue to do everything to ensure that our players get better offers within and outside the country,”, he said.
In his own comment, crowned academy coach, Akalo Ayodele expressed gratitude to the club owner for his financial and moral support given the academy since its inception.
He said the academy is gradually well known based on their performance at the just concluded Ikeja Divisional Football Super League boasting that the academy would continue to engage in top friendly matches to keep the players fit ahead of future challenges.
